Mining

The enactment of the investor-friendly Nigerian Minerals and Mining Act, 2007 and the apparent focus of Nigeria’s Federal Government on this neglected sector suggest that major activity is likely to result in this area of the law in the next few years.

We continue to act for a number of indigenous and foreign mining companies on their existing or proposed entry and investments in Nigeria and are well-positioned to be at the forefront of this area of the law as it continues to develop.
