Mr. Folorunsho Majiyagbe – Managing Partner, Abuja Office
Folorunsho obtained his undergraduate and masters (LLM in the Legal Aspects of Marine Affairs) law degrees from Cardiff Law School, University of Wales in 1995 and 1996 respectively.
He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1999 and the Bar of England and Wales (Honourable Society of the Middle Temple) in 2001.
In November 1999, Folorunsho joined the firm of Strachan Partners, Lagos, Nigeria as an Associate and in 2001 he moved to the firm of Banwo & Ighodalo also in Lagos for one year.
He is the author or co-author of numerous articles that have appeared in local and international journals and publications such as Air and Space Law Journal, the Economist Intelligence Unit’s country report for Nigeria and Guardian Law.
He has also delivered papers on various issues to committees of Nigeria’s Federal House of Representative and other noteworthy bodies.
Folorunsho was listed in the 2009 edition of The Legal 500 and features in the current edition of Who’s Who Legal.
He is presently studying (distance learning) for an LLM in Natural Resources Law & Policy at the Centre for Energy Petroleum & Mineral Law & Policy, University of Dundee, Scotland.
Folorunsho is a member of the Nigerian and International Bar Associations.
